AA Mint Cards was born after rediscovering a trove of old baseball cards during the pandemic. After rapidly becoming one the of largest and most respected trading card dealers on eBay, we expanded into a brick-and-mortar hobby shop. We quickly became South Florida’s destination for buying, selling, consigning, and grading sports and trading cards. In a little over two years, we are thrilled to open a new store that is three times the size of our original one.
From Hobby To Business
What’s now a full-fledged business started out as a hobby between father and son. My dad found a Wayne Gretzky rookie card he had as a teenager in a safe deposit box during the pandemic. We got it graded and sold it on eBay for a few thousand dollars. That’s when the lightbulb went off. My dad knew all about card collecting and I knew how to monetize and grow a business on eBay.
We launched AA Mint Cards as an online store, turning hidden gems into inventory and investing in undervalued players. Since launching our first retail store, AA Mint Cards has over 1,400 5-star Google reviews.

Our goal for AA Mint Cards was to create a friendly atmosphere that celebrates the modern world of sports cards. I love interior design and was inspired by trendy shoe stores use of vertical space. Our walls have custom transparent grids that hold graded cards, and each grid has its own QR code. Scan the code and you see a website with complete information about every card in that grid, including high-resolution images, population counts, and pricing. We love our interactive displays because they combine the best of the physical and online words. Our new store also includes vending machines that hold over 50 different sports and TCG packs.
