The Best Rookie Cards from the 2025 NBA All-Stars

Cards to collect from everyone in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game.

The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will take place on February 16th in San Francisco, California. Now that the rosters have been announced, here are the best rookie cards from the 2025 NBA All-Stars.

2025 NBA All-Stars from the Eastern Conference

The five starters from the Eastern Conference are Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jalen Brunson, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, and Karl-Anthony Towns. There are also seven reserves. Here’s a look at the 2025 NBA All-Stars’ rookie cards you can add to your collection.

2013 Panini Prizm Giannis Antetokounmpo #290

This is the Greek Freak’s classic rookie card. Ungraded copies of the base card can run between $100-$200, with PSA 10 sales between $450-$500. Low-numbered parallels are best for collectors seeking scarcity. High-end collectors may also want to consider on-card autographs from sets like 2013 Panini National Treasures, Flawless, Immaculate, and Gold Standard.

2018 Panini Prizm Jalen Brunson #250

Jalen Brunson isn’t a big name in the hobby, so you shouldn’t have any trouble finding affordable rookie cards. Prizm features a great shot of him making a behind-the-back pass, but another popular choice is his Rated Rookie from 2018 Donruss Optic. Both sets offer a variety of parallels. Brunson also has autographs in 2018 Crown Royale, Impeccable, Certified, and the usual high-end sets.

2017 Panini Donruss Optic Donovan Mitchell #188

Mitchell’s Rated Rookie card shows him holding the ball at his hip and staring directly into the camera, making for a much better shot than his Prizm rookie card. Both base cards sell for a few dollars and have serial-numbered parallels to chase. Donovan Mitchell also has autographs in products with a variety of price points. He has rookie autographs in low-end products like 2017 NBA Hoops and Chronicles, and also in 2017 Panini Opulence, Noir, and other high-end products.

2017 Panini Prizm Jayson Tatum #16

Ungraded base cards of Tatum’s Prizm rookie card go for about $30, or you can pick up a PSA 10 for about $100. Prizm has the usual rainbow of parallels to chase, as does his Donruss Optic Rated Rookie card. Tatum’s 2017 Mosaic #20 is another one that sometimes flies under the radar. You can also find on-card rookie autographs in 2017 Encased and the classic Rookie Ticket Autograph in 2017 Contenders.

2015 Panini Select Courtside Karl-Anthony Towns #268

KAT has three rookies in 2015 Select, but #268 is the rarest. Along with the usual sets, Towns has rookie cards in 2015 Revolution, Court Kings, Prestige, and many more. High-end collectors will prefer rookie patch autographs from 2015 National Treasures, Immaculate, Flawless, and Noir. If you’re hunting for Kabooms, check out 2015 Panini Excalibur.

2016 Panini Prizm Jaylen Brown #44

The classic Prizm rookie is one of Brown’s best. Base cards aren’t that expensive, and there are many parallels to choose from, including the retail-exclusive Green Prizm for collectors looking for a color match. You can find his other rookie cards in all the other popular sets, as well as one of his first on-card autographs in 2016 Donruss Next Day Autographs.

2021 Panini Prizm Cade Cunningham #282

Prizm is the go-to, but Cunningham’s Rated Rookie in 2021 Donruss Optic is also a good option. Both products give collectors an autograph and a bunch of parallels to chase. Cunningham has hobby upside and a lot of high-end cards to choose from. Along with the typical RPAs in 2021 National Treasures and Flawless, there are also low-numbered rookie patch autographs in 2021 Eminence. You can also find Kabooms in 2021 Crown Royale and Color Blasts in 2021 Spectra.

2019 Panini Prizm Darius Garland #288

Like Siakam, Garland’s rookie cards are very affordable and readily available. You can pick up a PSA 10 for less than $20 and some rookie autographs for less than $100. If you’re looking for more high-end cards, you can’t go wrong with a rookie Kaboom from 2019 Crown Royale or a Color Blast from 2019 Spectra.

2019 Panini Hoops Tyler Herro #210

Among the 2025 NBA All-Stars is first-timer Tyler Herro, and he has hundreds of rookie cards to choose from. Hoops takes the top spot with the unique photo of a through-the-legs pass, but his Prizm rookie is also a good option. Both come with many parallels to chase. 2019 Contenders has the classic Rookie Ticket Autograph, but Herro also has rookie autographs in 2019 Obsidian, Origins, Prizm, and more.

2012 Panini Prizm Damian Lillard #245

Prizm debuted in 2012, making this an easy choice for the veteran’s best rookie card. If you love wild designs, check out 2012 Crusade and Marquee. 2012 Past & Present are for the retro collectors out there. Lillard’s rookie autographs are hard to come by, but there are a few in 2012 Immaculate and Innovation.

2021 Panini Donruss Optic Evan Mobley #175

Mobley’s Rated Rookie tops his Prizm rookie for me, but both cards have low-numbered parallels if you prefer the rarity. Along with the classic sets, he also has more affordable rookie cards in 2021 Photogenic, Illusions, and Donruss Elite. 2021 One & One also has the popular Downtown insert.

2016 Panini Prizm Pascal Siakam #220

Siakam is one of the least popular 2025 NBA All-Stars in the Eastern Conference, so that means you can check him off your list for pretty cheap. Prizm is the go-to, but you can also chase the rainbow in 2016 Donruss Optic, Select, and Hoops. Rookie autographs are in 2016 Spectra, Limited, and the usual high-end products.

2018 Panini Prizm Trae Young #78

The NBA announced that Trae Young will be filling in as an injury replacement for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Prizm gives us the classic look for Young’s rookie card and also gives fans many parallels to collect.

2025 NBA All-Stars from the Western Conference

The five starters from the Western Conference are Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, and Nikola Jokić. There are also seven reserves. Here’s a look at the 2025 NBA All-Stars’ rookie cards you can add to your collection.

2018 Panini Donruss Optic Shai Gilgeous-Alexander #162

While the 2018 Prizm design is a classic, we’ll go with Gilgeous-Alexander’s Rated Rookie. You can pick up a base card for about $15, but there are also a bunch of parallels for collectors looking for limited print runs. Like many other modern players, SGA also has rookie cards in affordable sets like 2018 Chronicles, Court Kings, Revolution, and more.

2009 Topps Stephen Curry #321

Steph Curry’s top rookie card is found in Topps. If you’re looking for something numbered, the Chrome version is limited to 999 copies. You can also find his other rookie cards in 2009 Bowman, Upper Deck, and Panini. As far as ink goes, the 2009 Exquisite Autograph is a fan favorite. The most valuable Curry rookie card is the Rookie Patch Autograph in National Treasures.

2007 Topps Chrome Kevin Durant #131

Topps Chrome is Kevin Durant’s most widely recognized rookie card. The parallel list is limited to just four different refractors and the Superfractor. Exquisite and SP Authentic offer high-end patches and on-card autographs. Other unique Durant rookies can be found in 2007 Bowman Sterling, Stadium Club, and Upper Deck. Announced as one of the 2025 NBA All-Stars, Durant is making his 15th appearance.

2003 Topps Chrome LeBron James #111

Of all the 2025 NBA All-Stars, LeBron is the veteran who’s gearing up for his league-leading 21st All-Star Game. If you’re looking for the classic LeBron James rookie card, it’s Topps Chrome. Even though it’s not numbered, an ungraded copy will cost you more than $500. Some of his other popular rookie cards can be found in 2003 Topps Finest, Bowman Chrome, Upper Deck Finite, and Fleer Ultra. 2003 Exquisite has the coveted rookie patch autograph, while 2003 Ultimate Collection has the low numbered rookie autograph. Finally, 2003 Topps Rookie Matrix offers a unique card as LeBron is paired with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

2015 Panini Prizm Nikola Jokić #335

Jokić doesn’t have as many rookie cards as some other 2025 NBA All-Stars. Prizm is the clear favorite, but you can find other rookie cards in 2015 Select, Clear Vision, Threads, and Limited. 2015 Immaculate, not National Treasures, has the only true rookie patch autograph. National Treasures has the high-end autograph, and Flawless offers a high-end base card.

2020 Panini Prizm Anthony Edwards #258

Prizm offers the classic rookie and is easily the favorite for Edwards. Ungraded copies of the base cards are not hard to find and can be yours for around $10. Collectors looking for more rarity are sure to find what they’re looking for with more than 40 parallels. If budget isn’t a factor, Edwards’ rookie patch autograph is in 2020 National Treasures and his rookie Kaboom can be found in 2020 Crown Royale.

2012 Panini Prizm Anthony Davis #236

Prizm became an instant fan-favorite with its debut in 2012. Besides the base rookie, the only parallels are Silver, Green, and Gold Prizms. 2012 Hoops and Donruss Elite are two more sets with popular AD rookie cards. 2012 Preferred offers Davis’ autograph along with unique card designs, while Davis’ more traditional rookie autographs are in 2012 Select, Immaculate, and National Treasures.

2009 Topps James Harden #319

Like Curry, Harden has rookie cards in Topps, Bowman, Upper Deck, and Panini. 2009 Court Kings and Threads are two products with more affordable rookie autographs, while Harden’s most coveted rookie autographs are found in 2009 Exquisite, Timeless Treasures, and the RPA in National Treasures.

2018 Panini Prizm Jaren Jackson Jr. #66

Base cards will only cost you a dollar or two, but the parallels are where it’s at for Jaren Jackson Jr. Even though they’re not numbered, the blue/yellow/green and tiger stripe Prizms are highly sought after. You can find rookie autographs for less than $50 in products like 2018 Allen & Ginter, Certified, and Donruss. Jackson Jr. also has rookie cards in high-end products like National Treasures, Immaculate, and Flawless.

2021 Panini Donruss Optic Alperen Şengün #169

Şengün debuted just a few years ago so he has rookie cards in all the top products like Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, Mosaic, and more. His rookie autographs can be found in affordable products like 2021 Revolution, Recon, and Photogenic. 2021 National Treasures and Flawless have low-numbered, on-card autographs.

2022 Panini Prizm Jalen Williams #246

Williams is another young star with hundreds of rookie cards. Similar to Sengün, you can find them in Prizm, Donruss Optic, Select, and Mosaic. Premium ink is found in 2022 Obsidian and with the Contenders Optic Rookie Ticket. These both have various parallels with low print runs. If you’re looking for top-of-the-line RPAs, you can’t go wrong with 2022 Flawless, Immaculate, and National Treasures.

2023 Panini Prizm Victor Wembanyama #136

Victor Wembanyama entered his rookie season with more hype than anyone since LeBron James in 2003. Besides the classic Prizm rookie, Mosaic, Select, Donruss Optic, and Hoops are other popular rookie cards. If you’re looking for Wemby autographs, you won’t find any in Panini products. Wembanyama’s autographs are exclusive to Topps products. You can find them in 2023 Mercury, Chrome, Finest, and Bowman’s Best. If you’re only going to add a few of these 2025 NBA All-Stars to your collection, make Victor Wembanyama one of them!
