The Best Aaron Judge Rookie Cards

A collector’s guide to the best Aaron Judge cards.

New York Yankees slugger Aaron Judge broke the American League home run record and won the Most Valuable Player award in 2022, won the MVP again in 2024, and is putting up another elite season in 2025. With his cards heating up, here are Aaron Judge rookie cards to add to your collection.

The Classic Aaron Judge Rookie Cards

Flagship Topps and Bowman releases, along with their Chrome counterparts, are the classic Aaron Judge rookie cards. The base cards are all easy to find, while the parallels and short-printed variations are a good option if you’re looking for a tougher chase.

2017 Topps Aaron Judge #287

Judge’s flagship rookie card captures the outfielder looking up as he’s about to catch a fly ball. The SSP variation captures Judge in the dugout with a bat under his arm. The base card runs about $30 for an ungraded copy, and a PSA 10 is worth about $200 (June 2025).

2017 Topps Chrome Aaron Judge #169

This is the Chrome version of Judge’s flagship rookie card, so it’s the same photo except with a Chrome finish. It comes in more than 10 different parallels and has an image variation of Judge running the bases. An ungraded copy is about $100, and PSA 10s have been selling for $250 to $300.

2017 Bowman Aaron Judge #32

These days Bowman rookie cards aren’t as popular as Topps rookie cards, so these are a bit more affordable than the Topps and Topps Chrome cards. Judge’s Bowman rookie card is a shot of the slugger in the batter’s box with his front leg starting to pick up. An ungraded copy will cost you around $15 to $20, and a PSA 10 copy is around $150.

2017 Bowman Chrome Aaron Judge #56

The photo used for Judge’s Bowman Chrome rookie card is very similar to the paper version, but the overall design is a bit cleaner on this Chrome version. There are a handful of Refractors and an image variation of Judge holding a hat and glove in the dugout. The base card is about $80 if it’s not graded, and about $250 for a PSA 10.

Affordable Rookie Cards of Aaron Judge

If you’re on a budget but still want to collect Aaron Judge rookie cards, you’re in luck! There are plenty of unique cards that won’t break the bank.

2017 Topps Allen & Ginter Aaron Judge #172

Allen & Ginter is a consistent set that gives collectors affordable options for rookie cards. Judge’s card has his headshot within a small oval and a splash of green in the background. There’s also a wide array of full-size and mini parallels. The card costs about $30 for an ungraded copy, but snagging a PSA 10 for about $85 is a much better deal.

2017 Topps Archives Aaron Judge #62

The 2017 Archives set honors the 1960 Topps design. The card is positioned horizontally with a close-up of Judge taking up most of the card, and a small full-body shot of Judge hitting to the left. The green and yellow color scheme adds brightness to the card. Similar to the Allen & Ginter card, the price for an ungraded copy of Judge’s Archives rookie is currently inflated at $100. However, PSA 9s are an affordable option as they’re selling for about $65.

2017 Topps Stadium Club Aaron Judge #64

Stadium Club is a release that minimizes the design to focus on the photography. In this card, Judge is shown standing for the national anthem. Raw copies are selling for about $20, with PSA 9s going for $55.

High-End Aaron Judge Rookie Cards

On-card autographs and low-numbered parallels are among the best Aaron Judge rookie cards. There are a handful of releases producing these high-end rookie cards, but here are our favorites.

2017 Topps Definitive Collection Aaron Judge Rookie Autographs

One of the best cards in Definitive is the Autograph Inscription Collection where Judge wrote “Bronx Bombers” below his autograph. Judge is also featured in Definitive Rookie Autographs, Autograph Relic Collection, Framed Autograph Collection, and Framed Autograph Patch Collection. Depending on the specific card and grade, Aaron Judge rookie cards from Topps Definitive can cost anywhere between $800 and $18,000.

2017 Topps Diamond Icons Aaron Judge Rookie Autographs

Every Aaron Judge rookie card in Topps Diamond Icons is numbered to 25 copies or fewer, making this a super-premium product. Judge is featured in the Autographs checklist, which has three parallels: Purple (/10), Red (/5), and Gold (1/1). He also has a Diamond Autograph and Red Ink Autograph, each with the same three parallels.

2013 Bowman Chrome Draft Autograph Aaron Judge

Technically a pre-rookie card, this is one of the most desirable Aaron Judge cards. Although it doesn’t have the “1st Bowman” designation, that’s what this is. There are a bunch of Refractors that make this an even rarer, more expensive chase.
