Skenes’ true rookie card is #US100 in 2024 Topps Update. The photo shows Skenes about to deliver the pitch in the Pirates’ home white uniform. There are a bunch of parallels, including blaster-exclusive Halloween designs. Skenes also has two other cards in this set: #US288 is a Rookie Debut, and #US160 is a combo card with catcher Yasmani Grandal. Of the three, #US100 is the one to collect.

2024 Topps Chrome Update Series Paul Skenes #USC88

This is the chromium version of Skenes’ flagship rookie card. It also comes with its own set of parallels, a chromium version of his Rookie Debut card, and a 2024 MLB All-Star Game card. If you’re looking for a bit more of a challenge, this set offers a short-printed image variation with speckle refractor parallels exclusive to the image variation cards.

All base cards in Gilded are limited to 99 copies, and there are also seven parallels with smaller print runs. Autographs are the main draw in Gilded, and Skenes is included in the Gold Autographs checklist. Again, the base autograph is numbered to /99, and there are a few parallels that go from 75 copies down to 1.

Sapphire Edition is a more exclusive version of the major Topps and Bowman releases.
